Alma Stewart Alma Stewart, age 90, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 10:25PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio. She was born on August 25, 1918 in Champaign County, Ohio, to the late Eugene and Hattie Davis Harvey. She was married to Granville Stewart who preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Gary Opdyke of Florida; three sons and daughters-in-law: Harold and Nancy Stewart of New Carlisle, Ohio and Robert and Jo Stewart and Martin and Rhonda Stewart both of Troy; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Stewart was the last of nine children and she was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers. She was a member of the Troy Senior Citizens, Trojan Grandmother's Club, Staunton Grange and the Leisure Club of Piqua. She was also a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment to follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio.
