Alice S. Knecht Denlinger Alice S. Knecht Denlinger, 96, of Troy, OH died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at her residence. She was born March 15, 1911 in Warren County to the late Harry L. and Louie Nickleson Settlemyre. She was married to Floyd Knecht who preceded her in death in 1984 and later married Bruno E. Denlinger who passed away Friday, April 13, 2007. She was survived by her stepchildren: Kenneth and Janet Denlinger of Troy; Willard and June Denlinger of Covington, OH; Betty and John Watren of Troy; and Lora and Larry Huff of Bristol, TN; nieces: Linda Longstreth and Nancy Johnson; nephew: Bill Settlemyre; sister-in-law: Thelma Settlemyre; step-grandchildren: Erik Denlinger, Nikki Taynor, and Kymberly Denlinger; Todd, Dean, and Chris Denlinger; Tammy Ruiz and Melissa Moore; and Colleen Austin and David McCutcheon; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; brothers: Robert, John and Baylis; sisters: Mary Grice and Ruth Wright; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Dale Christian officiating. Interment will be in Royal Oaks Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH.
