Alfred "Al" C. Spraul, 71, of Troy, Ohio died on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on January 15, 1935 in Troy, Ohio to the late Joseph and Mildred Critiser Spraul. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Lou Fritz Spraul; children, Christine Spraul of Piqua, OH; Joseph C. Spraul of Troy, OH; step-son, Greg Altic of Troy, OH; Diane Spraul of Troy, OH; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, Elizabeth "Betty" Spraul; stepson, Brent Altic and brother, Joseph Spraul. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 43, Troy; YMCA; US Navy, veteran of the Korean War; ordained minister and served the community of Mesa, Arizona. He was a graduate of Troy High school in 1953, and continues his studies at Wright State; Sinclair College and further professional studies. He was former owner/operator of Spraul Realty, Troy; Tee Time Golf, Tipp City and AL-MAR Appraisals, Mesa, Arizona. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2006 @ 1:30PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Sunday, August 13, 2006 from 12-1:30PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Contributions may be made to American Lung Association or American Cancer Society. Family interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
