Alfred W. ''Butch'' Riggs, age 57 of San Francisco, California died Wednesday, March 6 in California. He was born of A.L. Riggs and Virginia Bretland Stang. His mother and step-father, Fred Stang survive in Troy. He is also survived by his brother, David Stang of Columbus. A veteran of the Air National Guard, he was a 1962 graduate of Troy High School and received his Bachelors Degree from the Ohio University.
