Addie I. Adams Addie I. Adams, age 82, of Troy, Ohio died at 6:15AM Sunday January 27, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio. She was born May 26, 1925 in Tipp City, Ohio, to the late Clarence V. and Wilma M. Rench Plank. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David P. Adams of Troy. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Adams was survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Julie Ann and John Franklin Battelle of Vandalia, Ohio; one brother, William Plank of Sarasota, Florida; and one sister, Edith Berry of Cleveland, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: John E., Donald W. and Harold Plank; and sisters: Bessie Helke, Edna May Ledwedge, Myrtle Shafer, Barbara Gray Alma Barker, Clara Wolfe and Doris Bowling. She was a graduate of Karnes School of Cosmetology in Dayton and was a member of Brandt United Methodist Church. Mrs. Adams was a beautician and retired in 1989 from Captor Corp. in Tipp City, Ohio after 16 years of service. Services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday January 31, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with the Rev. Dee King officiating. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City, Ohio.
