A. Susan Thomas of Troy, Ohio a devoted wife and mother went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 21, 2006. She was born March 22, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Charlie Brown and Martha Puckett Brown. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Paul Allan Thomas of Troy, OH; daughters and sons-in-law, Jody Mapes and Eric Weisenbarger of Urbana, OH; Brandy Mapes of Kettering, OH; Jennifer Thomas and Brian Bowman of Troy, OH and her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Jennifer Ball of Casstown, OH; her brother, Jodi Brown of Vandalia, Oh and sisters, Sandra Busche of Ft. Wayne, IN; Peggy Rose of Miamisburg, OH; Barbara Evans of Florida; and Debbie Caudill of Grove City, OH and her grandchildren, Kasey Weisenbarger, Alyssa Bowman, Emma Bowman, Katie Ball, and Amanda Ball. She was preceded in death by her brothers, David Brown and Gary Brown and her sisters, Joy Wampler and Vickie Whited. She was a member of the Living Word Church in Vandalia, OH. She was a 1969 Graduate of Roth High School in Dayton, OH. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Edison Community College in Piqua, OH. Services will be held at the Living Word Church in Vandalia, Oh on Tuesday September 26, 2006 at 10:00 am. Interment in Riverside Cemetery in Troy, OH. Friends may call on the family Monday, September 25, 2006 2pm-4:00pm and 6pm-8:00pm at the Living Word Church 926 E. National Rd., Vandalia, OH.
