A. June Emmons, age 91, of Troy, Ohio died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at her residence. She was born June 15, 1918 in Bath County, Kentucky to the late Morton Harper Cline and Ruth Ann Thornsburg Cline. She is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law, Marion and Beverly Cline of Beavercreek, Ohio and Henry Etta Cline of Tipp City, Ohio. She was the beloved aunt of Gary Diane Cline, Marsha Steve Merritt, Julia Louis Leet, Donald Karen Cline, Christopher Cline, Jeffrey Sherri Cline, and Valerie Wayne Haller, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Emmons and brother, Bruce Cline. June attended the First United Church of Christ, Troy. She was an avid quilter for most of her life. She was valedictorian of her high school class. For many years June owned and maintained a tobacco farm in Hillsboro, Kentucky. Graveside service will be held 1:00PM on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, Kentucky.
