Wanda M. Bair, age 87, of Troy, OH passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at SpringMeade Healthcare Center, Tipp City.  She was born on March 4, 1930 in Versailles, OH to the late Oscar and Mary (Shiverdecker) Plessinger.  She married Leonard A. Bair in 1948, they shared almost 64 years of marriage with him preceding her in death on November 10, 2012.

Wanda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: James and Vicky Bair of St. Paris, OH; two granddaughters: Tracy (Jamison) Mount of Urbana and Carol (Robert) Hess of Troy; great granddaughter: Elayna; and many relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by one son: Charles William Bair; sister: Donna (Paul) Williams and three brothers: John, Robert and Joe Plessinger.

Wanda was a graduate of Fairview High School, Dayton.  She was a 4-H Advisor and member of the Horseshoe Club and co-founder of the Trojan Square Dance Club.  Wanda and her husband, Leonard, were avid travelers and spent several winters in Florida.  She was a longtime volunteer with the American Cancer Society and the Reach to Recovery program.  She retired after 20 years of service as a loan officer with Production Credit.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on July 3, 2017 at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on July 3, 2017 at the funeral home.
