Virginia M. "Gigi" Shaw

Virginia M. “Gigi” Shaw, age 56, of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy, OH.  Gigi was born on May 28, 1962 in Dayton, OH.

Gigi is survived by her husband of 24 years: Larry D. Shaw; her children and their spouses: Mitchell (Laura) Stidham of Lewisburg, OH, Matt Shaw of Sidney, Dana (Matt) Donahoue of Valdosta, GA, Michael Stambaugh of Piqua, OH, Chris Stambaugh of MS; grandmother, Hattie Young of Troy; siblings and their spouses: David (Joanne) Lindsey of Camden, OH, Terry Walter of Melbourne, KY, Robert Stidham of Lewisburg, OH, Robin (Dave) Herres of Snellville, GA, Carletta Morris of Fayetteville, AR, Dorothy (James) Landis of N. Ft. Myers, FL and Mildred Alfred of Troy; 10 grandchildren: Hailey and Harper Stidham, Madison Burchfield, Lydia Donahoue, Austin and Katlynn Shaw, Kaleigh, Lucas, Kaden and Olivia Stambaugh.

Gigi was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather: Shirley (Niswonger) and David C. “Bud” Lindsey and grandfather, Donald Young.

Gigi was a 1980 graduate of National Trails High School.  She was formerly employed with Emery Worldwide.  She was a member of Eaton First Church of Nazarene.  She was a lover of animals and enjoyed sewing, crafts, making her own music and her grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Eaton First Church of Nazarene, 201 E. Lexington Road, Eaton, OH with Pastor Jim High officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 10:00AM – 11:00AM on Thursday at the church.
