Tracy Lynn Current

TRACY LYNN CURRENT, age 49, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at her residence.  She was born in Goshen, IN on September 14, 1970. 

Tracy is survived by her parents: Julie A. (Mike) Nordin of Syracuse, IN and Don M. (Judy) Current of Ft. Wayne, IN; two children: Aleshya (Brad) Hutchinson of Sidney and Dyllan Current of Troy; granddaughter: Ryleigh; five siblings: Amanda (Jason) Longmire and Matt (Sarah) Nordin, both of Syracuse, IN, Dawn (Warren) Roscoe of Monaca, PA, Denise (Michael) Popps of Aliquippa, PA and Alex (Adam) Smith of Fallon, NV; maternal grandmother: Marie VanderReyden of Goshen, IN; and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Ruth and Weldon Current; and maternal grandfather: John VanderReyden.

Tracy attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse, IN.  She had a huge heart.  Tracy worked for the Family Abuse Shelter in Troy and enjoyed helping others.  She loved her cats, tie dye and peace signs.  Tracy cherished her family and her grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 2-4PM at the Syracuse Community Center, 1013 N. Long Drive, Syracuse, IN 46567.  (Floral deliveries will only be accepted at the Community Center on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 12-5PM.)  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
