Ruby Ann Taylor, age 87, of Troy OH passed away on Thursday September 7, 2017 at Piqua Manor in Piqua, OH. She was born June 10, 1930 in Miami County to the late Tom and Treva (Curtis) Heffelfinger. She married Clifton Taylor in 1947, he preceded her in death.

Ruby is survived by her granddaughter: Jodell (Jon) Davis of Troy; great grandson: Ryan (Michelle) Vanderhorst of Covington; great granddaughter: Alyson Vanderhorst of Troy; great great grandchildren: Makayla, Makenzie, and A.J. Vanderhorst; brothers: Roger (Joyce) Heffelfinger and Tommy (Judy) Heffelfinger all of Troy; and sister: Doris Brown of Troy. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby was preceded in death by daughter: Connie Taylor; brothers: Nolan, Dale, Harold, Ned, Don and Richard Heffelfinger; and sisters: Virginia Baldwin and Delphine Newman.

Ruby was a 1947 graduate of Elizabeth Township School. She enjoyed working at Spring Hill Nursery in Tipp City for over 20 years where she could share her love of gardening.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday September 11, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Jill DeLacruz and Candy Null officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy. Friends may call from 2-4 pm on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
