Randall J. Blackburn

RANDALL J. BLACKBURN, age 80, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy. He was born on October 12, 1938 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Melvin Carl and Pansey Marie (Scott) Blackburn. Randall is survived by his wife of 37 years: Carol M. (Quick) Blackburn; three children: Terry J. (Lori) Blackburn of Shingle Spring, CA, Christopher L. Blackburn of Waverly, OH and Neal E. (Shawna) Blackburn of Troy; three step children: Vickie (David) Kiehborth of Dublin, OH; Kellie (Mike) Wilkinson of Troy; and Stevan (Ninna) Anderson of Westerville; four grandchildren: James A. (Melissa) Blackburn of Shingle Springs, CA, Daniel J. (Maria) Blackburn of San Francisco, CA Elissa R. Blackburn of Lucasville, OH and Kristina M. Blackburn of Waverly, OH; 4 step grandchildren: Danny (Stacey) Schulthis of Larkspur, CO; Lisa (Todd) Hamill of Powell; Elizabeth Wilkinson of Troy; and Allison (Ryan) Cooper of Westerville; 4 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Phillip Allen Blackburn; one daughter: Karen Blackburn; and one brother: Denver Blackburn. Randall was a retired factory worker. He was also a volunteer with Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church and New Path Food Ministry. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
