Mary Frances (Biondie) Braun

Mary Frances (Biondie) Braun of Troy, Ohio, passed away in the loving arms of her four children on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit.  She was born on June 6, 1926 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to the late George and Frances (Rudd) Biondie.  Mary Frances married Alan J. Braun in June 1955. Judge Braun passed away February 1994.

Mary Frances has three daughters, Mimi (Tom) Reinshell of Troy, Lea Braun (Jay) Perez of Dublin, Ohio, and Amy (Fred Lord) Braun of Lima; one son, Walter (Kathy) Braun of Troy; two sisters, Kathy Bell of Kettering, Ohio, and Laura Beighle of Tipp City, Ohio; brother: William Biondie of Norfolk, Virginia; sister-in-law, Marie Biondie of Kettering; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Frances was preceded in death by her brother: George Biondie, and brothers-in-law: Harry Bell and Forest Beighle.

Mary Frances was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, a 50 year member of the Troy Music Club, member of the Dayton Bar Auxiliary, charter member of the Troy Skating Club, and a member of the Dayton Opera Chorus and Opera Guild.  She was a graduate of Sinclair Community College.

Funeral service will be held 11AM, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Baird Funeral Home with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.   Family will receive friends on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
