Margie Caudill, age 86, of Troy, OH passed away on April 5, 2017 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit.  She was born on January 26, 1931 in Breathitt County, KY, one of fourteen children.

Margie is survived by her best friend and husband of 66 years, Russell Caudill; daughter, Marie Caudill of Kernersville, NC; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Clay (Crystal) of Riverside, OH and Russell Dwight (Sabrina) of Troy, OH.  Margie is also survived by six grandsons, one grandaughter, two great grandsons, one great grandaughter and two brothers: Ed and Willis Neace.  Margie was preceded in death by her sons, Don Earl (1980) and Charles David (1997) and other siblings.

Known for her legendary cooking, wedding cakes and poems, Margie was a blessing to everyone she met and was adored by all.  While her physical presence will forever be missed here on earth, the heavens are shining a little brighter from welcoming her home to her reward for a life of service and a job well done.

Services will be at 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with the Rev. Steve Skiba officiating.  Interment will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 – 12:00 PM on Saturday.
