Lucille May Wright, age 102, of Troy, OH passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Koester Pavilion, Troy.  She was born on September 17, 1915 in Troy, OH to the late Walter and Ethel (Johnson) Burkholder.  She was married to Cyrus Wright and he preceded her in death in 1979.

She is survived by her daughter: Jerry Rose of Troy; sons and daughters-in-law: Billy and Jennifer Wright of Troy and Michael C. and Diana K. Wright of New Carlisle; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by brother: Harry Burkholder; sister: Audrey Sharrett and granddaughter: Marla Jo Wright.

Lucille was a 1933 graduate of Troy High School.  She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy and the oldest member of Class 13.  Lucille loved fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time in her rock garden.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with Rev. Lauren Allen officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.  Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
