James M. Goodall

James M. Goodall, age 88, of Troy, OH passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on December 28, 1929 in Follansbee, WV to the late James L. and Stella L. (Butcher) Goodall.  Jim was married to his first wife: Lois (Booher) Goodall, who preceded him in death, and second wife: Jessie L. (Slone) Goodall, who preceded him in death on January 22, 1996.

Jim is survived by his third wife: Freda K. (Bader) Goodall; sons: James M. Goodall Jr. of Cincinnati, OH, David N. Goodall of Sevierville, TN; David Kolleda of Melbourne, FL and Douglas Snider of Troy; daughters: Vicky L. Webb of Union, OH; Rebecca E. Schmitz of Vandalia, OH; and Dora Dick of Troy, OH; brother: Dr. Thomas F. Goodall of Dayton, OH; sister: Rita Callison of Albany, KY; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, his first wife and second wife, Jim was preceded in death by: sons: Steven K. Goodall and Herbert C. Snider; daughters: Deborah K. Siefke and Sylvia Lee Wesco; sisters: Elizabeth Goodall and Delores Fay Handwerker; and brother: Warren R. Goodall.

Jim was a member of the Troy Fish and Game and Troy Moose Lodge.  He was a member and Past Master of St. Johns #13 F&AM, Dayton, OH and a member of Royal Arch Masons; Antioch Shrine and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite.

He retired in 1991 after serving as a project engineer, tooling engineer and master electrician.  He was formerly employed with Hobart Corporation and Stillwater Technologies.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with the Rev. Douglas Magin officiating.  Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
