JACK M. PUTERBAUGH, SR., age 91, of Troy, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Upper Valley Medical Center.  He was born on July 26, 1926 in West Milton to the late Harold and Vesta (Fulkner) Puterbaugh. 

Jack is survived by his wife of 67 years: Nelda J. (Cress) Puterbaugh; one daughter: Candace (Robert) Bauer of Dayton; one daughter-in-law: Roshelle Puterbaugh of Troy; two brothers: Merlin and Myron Puterbaugh; four grandchildren: Steffanie Lennon, Joshua Bauer, Jackie Puterbaugh and Casey Puterbaugh; two great grandchildren: Gerhard and Ursala Hofer; and niece: Diana (George Hurtman) Weaver of Indianapolis, INpp.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Jack M. Puterbaugh, Jr.; and two sisters: Grace Purtee and Vivian Glauser.

Jack was a graduate of Milton Union Schools.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Merchant Marines.  Jack retired from Bendix Company in Dayton.  He was a member and past Master of Franklin Lodge #14 F & AM in Troy.

Friends may call from 12:30 – 2:30 PM on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Graveside Service will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.
