Irene Chaky Bashore, age 84, of Tipp City, Ohio, was born on December 5, 1932 in Cleveland, OH to the late Michael Louis Chaky (Csaki) and Julia Batin Chaky. Her husband of 58 years, Frederick William Bashore, preceded her in death on September 5, 2011.

Irene is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law: Daniel Ray (Belinda) Bashore of Lebanon, Ohio, Gary Lee (Melinda) Bashore of Tipp City and Rex Allen (Liezel) Bashore of Troy, Ohio; eight grandchildren and their spouses: Jacob Daniel (Rachel) Bashore of Texas, Leah Marie (Tate) Green of Ohio, Aaron Louis (Jillian) Bashore of Ohio, Charity Ann (Britt) Gardner of Texas, Bradley James (Melissa) Bashore of Florida, Matthew Scott (Janelle) Bashore of Indiana, Jennifer Marie Bashore of Ohio and Michael Bashore of Ohio; great-grandchildren: Braxton, Braydon, Brodie and Brylie Green; Reagan, Avery, Levi and Matthias Bashore; Noah, Josie and Jenna Bashore, Gabriella and Alexander Bashore, Lillian Smith, Rowdy Gardner and Kinsley and Chloe Bashore; sister: Katie Neef of Dayton, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Irene was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Ann Bashore in 1961 and siblings: Mary Cowman and Julia Engel.

Irene was a 1951 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Dayton, OH.  She was a former demonstrator for Act Now (a division of Act Media) and Encore Services (at Troy Wal-Mart) and Prodem, Inc (at Crossmark Wal-Mart) where she made many friends.  She was also formerly employed with Spring Hill Nursery.

Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Paul Napier officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
