HARVEY LEE CASHDOLLAR, age 83, of Troy, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Koester Pavilion in Troy.  He was born in Pataskala, OH on November 15, 1934 to the late Harry and Leafy (Lindsey) Cashdollar.  His wife, Mary Jane (Russell) Melvin preceded him in death on December 26, 1998.

Harvey is survived by one son: Jeffrey Cashdollar of San Jose, CA; one step daughter: Laura Davis of Troy; son-in-law: Larry Davis of Lakeview, OH; sister: Ellen Stevens of OR; grandchildren: Charles (Penny Etherington) Davis of Troy, Melissa (Floyd Newton) Newberg of Piqua, Holly (Dwight) Snyder of Troy and Wally (Michelle Wintrow) Davis of Piqua; great grandchildren: Alec Newberg, Davin Snyder, Hallie Snyder, Brent Newberg, Brittany Etherington, Devin Davis and Gabby Wintrow; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Harvey was a member of Redmen’s Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles, 971 Aerie and Am Vets Post 88, all in Troy.  He was formerly employed by Dinner Bell and County Market before retiring from Marsh in Troy.  Harvey proudly served his country as a member of the US Army.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
