Grayson Evan Loerke

Grayson Evan Loerke, age 22 of Troy, OH passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at his residence.  He was born in Dayton, OH on January 4, 1996 to David A. and Patricia L. (McCain) Loerke.

In addition to his parents, Grayson is survived by brothers: Dan (Hanna) Loerke of Springboro and Ben (Megan) Loerke of Centerville; grandparents: Bobbi Kelly of Troy, David K. and Donna Loerke of Dayton, and Janet McCain of Ft. Recovery, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Grayson was preceded in death by grandfathers: Michael McCain and J.S. Kelly.

Grayson attended Troy Christian School from preschool through eighth grade and again during his Junior and Senior years of High School.  During those years, Grayson was surrounded by caring, loving people who are the hands and feet of Jesus.  He was blessed to have such wonderful people in his life.

Grayson also had numerous mentors in his short life.  There were Sunday school teachers and Youth Leaders at the First United Methodist Church in Troy, baseball, hockey, and golf coaches, and music teachers.

Grayson was an avid golfer.  He played hockey from the time he was four.  He was also a fine saxophone player.

Our hearts are broken to have lost Grayson.  But we know he is with his Heavenly Father who will take care of him until we are reunited.

Visitation will be Monday, September 10, 2018 from 2-5 PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
