Eric Brian Flory, age 48, of Troy, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH. He was born June 18, 1969 in Hagerstown, MD to Leah (Mounce) Flory of MD and the late Donald R. Flory.

In addition to his mother, Eric is survived by his wife of 26 years: Dawn M. (McKibben) Flory; children: Kaitlyn Flory, Meredith Flory, Landon Flory, and Jaiden Flory, all of Troy; sisters: Jennifer (Tim) Fuss of MD and Alice (John) Landino of MI; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Billy and Betty McKibben of Covington, OH; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Christa and Ray Burton of Troy and Patrick and Violet McKibben of Troy; nieces and nephews: Bethany, Rachel, Demir, Meghan, Renee, Bryant, Blake, and Madison. Eric was preceded in death by his father.

Eric received his MBA from the University of Dayton. He had worked at Hobart Bros., in Troy, Vernay in Yellow Springs, Nitto in Piqua, and most recently at Datwyler in Vandalia.

Eric was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Covington, he was the President of Miami County SAY Soccer and a P.L.U.S. TEAM advisor.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, November 6, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Covington, OH with Pastor Stephen Nierman presiding. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 2-5PM, Sunday, November 5, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Covington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the P.L.U.S. organization (Parents Learning to Understand Students) at P.O. Box 51, Covington, OH 45318, to benefit the Covington 5th and 6th Grade Overnighter.
