Edward F. Wilson, age 78, of Troy, OH passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital.  He was born on January 29, 1939 in Dunbar, PA to the late Forest and Marie Wilson.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Alberta (Anderson) Wilson; children: Tom (Linda) Wilson of Atlanta, GA, Debbie (Dale) Knife, Anna Marie (John) Carns and Edward F. (Maria) Wilson II all of Piqua; sister-in-law: Minnie Wilson of Connellsville, PA; five grandchildren: Brittany (Tim) Washburn, Alex Wilson, Danielle Burnside, John Carns II and Breanne Wilson; three great-grandchildren: Lillyann, Daniel and Hayden.  In addition to his parents, he was  preceded in death by his brothers: Bud Wilson, Jack Wilson and a sister,  Anna Jane Zimmerman.

Ed was a member of the Community Bible Church, Tipp City and was an active member and Past President of the Troy Senior Citizens.  He retired from Hobart Corporation and previously worked for M & R Drug Company and Super-X in Troy.

Services will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Jeff Seekins officiating.  Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington.  The family will receive friends from 5-8PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45206.
