EDWARD L. NUCKLES, age 61, of Troy, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at UVMC, Troy. He was born February 5, 1956, to the late Edward M. and Mary Louise (Stagner) Nuckles in Troy, OH.

Edward is survived by his wife of 36 years: Alice M. (Michael) Nuckles; children: Thomas R. Ostendorf of Piqua and Valerie L. Nuckles (Jeremy) Young of New Carlisle; siblings: Pam (Paul) Montplisiar of GA, Brenda (Donnie) Roweton of FL, and Jeff (Diana) Nuckles of Houston, OH; grandchildren: Taylor Ostendorf, Zachary Ostendorf, Ethan Quillen, Courtney Young, and Brooklyn Young; numerous nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law: Rodney (Robin) Michael of Dayton.

Besides his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his grandmother: Clara Stagner; in-laws: Richard and Bertha Michael; and brother-in-law: Richard L. Michael.

Edward worked at USI Cable in Piqua and retired from Kimberly Clark in Troy. Edward loved fishing and watching NASCAR and Sprint Car races. He loved his family especially his grandchildren.

Services will be at 7 PM on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Friends may call from 4-7 PM prior to the service.
