Earl E. Roach

Earl Emerson Roach, age 91, of Casstown, OH passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his home. He was born July 7, 1927 in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late Alfred and Glenna (Kingery) Roach.

Earl is survived by wife: Rose (Malone) Roach; children:  Jim (Nicki) Roach of Troy, Sam (Tina) Roach of Troy, Nancy (James) Macy of Casstown, Joy Browning of  Troy and Penny Konz of Cannonsburg, KY; grandchildren:  Krista, Trent, Bonnie, Frank, Michelle, Kaytee, Gavyn, Wesley, Austin, Ashton, and Autumn; brother: Daniel (Debra) Roach of Ironton; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death his first wife: W. Faye Roach; son: Michael Roach; and brother: Ed Roach.

Earl attended Troy Freewill Baptist Church in Troy.  He retired from Hobart Corporation after 34 years of service.  He was a veteran of the Army Corp of Engineers.  He served on Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy for many years.  Earl was a member of Troy VFW, Troy Fish and Game and a charter member of Troy AmVets.

A Funeral Service for Earl will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 17, 2018, at Troy Freewill Baptist Church, 2482 South County Road 25A, Troy with Pastor Dwight Stump officiating.  Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Monday at the church.  Interment will be held in Casstown Cemetery with full military honors at the cemetery.
