Danny R. England, Sr.

DANNY R. ENGLAND, SR., age 64, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on October 24, 1954 in Troy to the late Kenneth England and Donna L. (James) Thompson.

Danny is survived by his wife of 43 years: Tammy L. (Tucker) England; four children: Peggy (Jeff) Gambrell of Piqua, Danny R. (Samantha) England, Jr. of Troy, Amanda M. England of Piqua and Christopher L. England of Troy; four brothers: Kenneth England, Jr. of Little Rock, AR, David (Michelle) England of Troy, Lawrence Cook of Franklin and Terry Cook of Bradford; eight grandchildren: Scott Hammel of Piqua, Jessica Gambrell of Piqua, Destiny Wells of Piqua, Alexis England of Troy, Carli Figuracion of Piqua, Mason England of Troy, Lilyanna Shafer of Piqua and Tyler Shafer, Jr. of Piqua; four great grandchildren: Brantley, Bentley, Raeghan and Kaylee; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Sara England; and one brother: Larry England, Sr.

Danny attended Troy High School.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army.  Danny retired from 3Sigma in Troy.  He was a member of Troy Eagles Aeire 971 and Troy Fish and Game.  Danny loved fishing and metal detecting, but most of all loved his family.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Full military honors will be provided by Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy at the cemetery.  Arrangements are being handled by Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
