CHERYL C. CARLIN, age 32, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017. She was born on, May 9, 1985, in Troy to John K. and Shirley (Zimmerman) Carlin of Troy.

Besides her parents, Cheryl is survived by her sisters: Ann Carlin of Dayton, Linda (Chris) Owens of Troy, Ruth (Jimmy) Vest of Dayton, Sandra (James) D’Ippolito of Columbus, and Rebecca (John) Kurdy of Branford, CT; brothers: John A. (Dedie) Carlin of Columbus, Andrew (Jen) Carlin of Boston, MA, and David (Brandi) Carlin of Huber Heights; grandmother: Mary Carlin, of Celina, OH; fourteen nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cheryl was preceded in death by grandparents: Oscar Carlin and Ray and Rose Marie Zimmerman.

Cheryl was a 2004 graduate of Troy High School. She graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelors degree in Education. Cheryl worked at Emerson Academy, Dayton, OH.

Cheryl was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy. She loved teaching and working with the students at Emerson Academy.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 17, 2017, at St. Patrick Church, Troy, OH, with Fr. Eric Bowman, officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Thursday at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Burial will take place in Miami Memorial Park.
