Ray M. Emberton

Ray M. Emberton, age 85, of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH.  He was born January 21, 1939, in Tompkinsville, KY, to the late Frank A. and Marie (Howard) Emberton.

He is survived by sons: Tim (Kitten) Emberton of New Carlisle, Charles Emberton of Medway and Chris Emberton (Brandy Bricker) of Troy; daughters: Lisa (Greg) Collins of New Carlisle and Jennifer (David) Bowman of Troy; brother: James Emberton of Bradford; sister: Connie Carpenter of Tipp City; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years: Barbara (Deardoff) Emberton; son: Harold Emberton; and brother: Frank Emberton.

Ray retired from Upper Valley Medical Center in Maintenance. He enjoyed camping, bluegrass, and the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on March 21, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
