I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My first job was at Fulton Farms, and I worked there every summer through high school and college. I have great memories of those times, and they were like family to me.

Dear Fulton Family,

We can't begin to express the sadness to learn of Bills' passing. We were out of town last week along with my mother, Janice who told me tonight and said that she was thankful that she was always able to visit with you both when she was in Ohio. Your family was part of our family for a very long time, before I was born and we've shared many good times and similar family losses but more importantly you were great friends to my parents for over 58 years so thank you. Please know that we are praying for all of you in this difficult time. We're sad that we weren't able to attend the memorial but please know that you are all in our thoughts today and those to come.

Our deepest condolences. love Jill and Tom.

I consider Bill as the "father" of The Troy Christian Wrestling program. He was a faithful supporter in so many ways. A fan, coach to some , and a behind the scene contributer. Others would be able to better describe the impact he made to the program, because he did it quietly without fanfare.
But I do know he sponsored kids who could not afford the full cost to be apart of a"Team Ohio" in the summer, or other national teams they were selected/qualified for. I know this because he supported mine. His quiet investment into many resulted in some state qualifiers, state champions , and at least one national champ.
Thank You for being a "GIVER". You made an impact and will be greatly missed in the TC wrestling community.

Sure is a great loss. Bill was a wonderful example of a husband, father, grandfather, busnessman, and friend. Working for Bill in my earlier days brings up such fond memories. We will be praying for your family. We have such a great hope in our Lord and savior Jeses. We know were he is headed and we will see him again. We are in Florida and will not be able to stop by. Bill, you and your family will always be in my heart. The time I worked in the market changed my life. Everyone was so nice and always together as family. I know a time or two I may have been more of a hindrance than help when you were backing up the corn wagon, please forgive me.
You will dearly be missed by many. Those that called you Dad, Grandpa, or even just plainly.... Sir.

Joyce, Tom, Barb & Family:

I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I was just in Troy today having lunch with my parents. As I drove out State Route 202 I was reminiscing about all the great times I had working on the farm when I was a kid. Bill and Tom gave me my first job and taught me what hard work was all about. I will always cherish those times. May our prayers help comfort you and your family.

To Joyce and family,

Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I played tennis often with Bill years ago, and I enjoyed it so much not only because it was competitive but because Bill was such a wonderful person. When the strawberries were in Bill would suprise me by bringing a bucket and giving it to me at the tennis court. I would call him, he would be out in the fields, and Joyce would have to contact him to see if and when he could play! What a wonderful person, and I hope that family can have some peace in his passing knowing how well liked he was. My condolescences to you, Joyce, and to all of the family.

Joyce love and peace to all of you, he is now in happy, healthy and whole in Heaven. He is probably up in Heaven talking about the good old days, their times at NCR and our family get togethers we had out at your house, I loved coming out there. At one of our get togethers is when I learned you can get the potato skin on a baked potato and haven't stopped. Thanks for all the memories and may God bless and comfort you now and always.

So very sorry to hear about Bill. He was an icon, I remember him from the 60's when he was working on his hot rod. Bill would roll into Friche's late in the evening and a crowd would gather. His old Ford was the first real hot rod I ever rode in.
Later in life when I would see him at the Strawberry Fest I'd always remind him of who I was and then we could talk old times.
What a guy, and what a loss. He will be missed by many.
