Sally A. Jason

Sally A. Jason, age 86, of Troy, OH passed away Saturday, April 07, 2018 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  She was born on September 20, 1931 in Marion, OH to the late George Howard and Ella C. (Irvin) Collmorgan.  Sally was preceded in death by husbands: Ed Wight and Walter Jason.

Sally is survived by her son: Jeffrey (Shirley) Feierstein of Troy; daughters: Julie (Michael) Wright of Troy and Jane (Jeffery) Koopman of Troy; Six grandchildren: Amy (David) Tyre-Heisey, Emily (Ryan) Hatfield, April (Kenny) Fent, Blaine Wright, Meggan (Eli) Barnhart and Michael Koopman; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and her husbands she was preceded in death by a sister Jean Mochida.

Sally was a graduate of Troy High School, a member of First United Church of Christ where she served as a deaconess for many years and Red Hatter’s. She loved to play bridge in TWIG.

Sally retired as a dental hygienist for Dr. Bruce Scranton. She also worked alongside her husband at Main Pharmacy, Stage and as a teller with Mainsource Bank.

Services will be held at 7:00PM on Wednesday April 11, 2017 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Lauren Allen officiating.  Interment will take place at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 5-7PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
