Michael J. Yeandle

MICHAEL J. YEANDLE, age 80, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Genesis/Troy Care.  He was born on January 31, 1938 in Milford Haven, Wales to the late Arthur James Yeandle and Kathleen Lillian (Smith) Yeandle. 

Michael is survived by his wife of 55 years: Jennifer Anne (Lott) Yeandle of Troy; children: Nicola J. Hanson and her husband Retired SSG James M. Hanson, both of Troy; a sister: June Walton of Shrewsbury, England; grandchildren: Chris and Chelsea, Samantha, Megan, Felicity, Ashley, and SPC Jennifer Hanson; and 10 great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Stuart J. Yeandle. 

Michael was a graduate of the University of Wales in Cardiff, Wales.   He was a member of I.S.H.M. and A.P.I.  He was an Engineer with B.P. and retired in 2000.  Michael enjoyed taking cruises and was a lifetime stamp collector.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Upper Valley Medical Center ICU, Genesis/Troy Care, and Hospice of Miami County.

Services will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Hospice Chaplain David Parker, officiating.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 4:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
