Martha held a very special place in my heart for the short time I knew her. She was one of the sweetest, bravest, honest women I've ever met.

I knew Martha from her time at the Caldwell House. I was the new chef on property and her words of encouragement and helpful tips kept me going when I was ready to leave. She'll be greatly missed and I hope her family is doing the best they can in these difficult times.

James, thank you for your kind words and sympathy. Mom was always willing to help others and she wanted to be as active as possible. Yes, she will be missed by her family, friends, caregivers, and so many people that she helped throughout her life. We take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and with her family in Heaven.
God bless you.

I will always treasure the memories of Martha, Golda, my mother, and me sitting side-by-side-by-side at the Saturday evening Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Martha was always engaged in the service and enjoyed seeing so many friends each week. She had a quick smile and sassy sense of humor that I will miss. May she be granted eternal rest, and may the perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, by the grace and mercy of God, rest in peace. Martha, you are missed and loved.

Kathleen, thank you for your kind words and support. We appreciate all the times you assisted Mom at Mass and offered her help. She wanted to be independent as long as possible. You made her attendance Mass easier for her. I know she looked forward to sitting with you and your Mother. Thank your for your help at her funeral Mass. God bless you and your family.
