LARRY E. HASTING, age 73, of Troy, passed away Thursday January 18, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Dayton. Larry was born June 8, 1944, in Troy, to the late Raymond R. and Jennie Belle (Miller) Hasting.

Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years: Sharon I. (Snyder) Hasting; children: Mark A. (Sandy) Hasting of Covington and Angie (Ted) Moening of Kettering; three grandchildren: Zach Hasting of Covington and Jenna Moening of Kettering and Courtney Matthieu of Cincinnati; and brother: Gary E. (Katie) Hasting of Knoxville, TN. Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by daughter: Melisa A. Hasting; and daughter-in-law: Holly L. Hasting.

Larry retired as a manager from Hobart Corporation after 34 years of service. He was a member of First Lutheran Church of Troy. Larry enjoyed spending his time working in the yard and creating stained glass items. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and the many trips to Gatlinburg.

Services will be held at 11AM on Monday, January 22, 2018 at First Lutheran Church, Troy with Rev. Heidi Holst presiding. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Friends may call Sunday from 4-7 PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
