Geneva Mae Berry, age 83, of Troy, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Brookdale of Piqua.  She was born on December 25, 1933 in Christiansburg, OH to the late Gifford E. and Margaret L. (Vulgamore) Harvey.  She was married to Archie J. Berry Jr. and he preceded her in death in 2002.

Geneva is also survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Jon Berry of Pt. Jefferson and David and Trish Berry of Troy; one daughter: Robin Berry of Piqua; one sister: Loretta O’Toole of Troy; and three grandchildren: Amber O’Neill, Harley Creager and Leah Berry. 

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother: Bobby Harvey.

Geneva was a 1951 graduate of Troy High School.  She was an avid camper with her special friend: Bob Miller.  Geneva was very community minded and an active member of First United Church of Christ, Troy and also a member of Staunton Grange, Miami County Pomona Grange and Troy Senior Citizens.   

Funeral service will be held at 1:30PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Egbert officiating.  Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park in Covington.  Friends may call from 6:00-8:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Staunton Grange or Hospice of Miami County.
