GAICOMO JACK SCALICE, age 70, of Troy, was born on October 21, 1946 in Grand Rapids, MI and passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 in Dayton. He was born to the late Theodore and Rose (Bileti) Scalice.

Jack is survived by his loving and caring wife, Elizabeth (Johnson) Scalice of Troy; daughter: Beth Adkins of Troy and granddaughter: Morgan Decker; his children of San Diego, CA: two sons: T. J. Scalice and Antonio (Alicia) Scalice; one daughter: Tina (Del) Andrade; four grandchildren: Alexandra (Andy) Mazon, Jorge Andrade, Rosie Scalice and Brandi Scalice; two great grandsons: Alessio and Amilio Mazon.  He is also survived by many family members and friends.  In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother: Peter Scalice.

Jack proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy, serving in the Vietnam War.  He retired from the Troy Police Department as a Building Supervisor.  Jack was a kind and jovial man, who loved spending time with family and friends.  He took great delight in entertaining others with his storytelling.  Jack was the type of person who would enter a room full of strangers and then have a room full of friends.

Per Jack’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or memorial.
