DAVID E. WEAVER, age 73, of Troy, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017.  He was born on September 1, 1943 in Troy to the late Paul J. and Ruth (Walborn) Weaver.  His wife of 52 years, Karen (Bea) Weaver, survives.

David is also survived by one daughter: Janelle (Kenny) Flaharty of Troy; two sisters: Norma (Scott Robinson) Carroll and Sherry Lutz, both of Troy; two brothers: Jeff (Cindy) Weaver and Paul “Binky” Weaver, Jr., both of Troy; one grandchild: Cameron Flaharty; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother: Norma C. Weaver.

David was a 1961 graduate of Troy High School.  He retired from Hobart Bros. after over 40 years of service.  David was an original member of Corvette Troy, an avid bridge player at Troy Senior Citizens Center a Little League coach for Troy Eagles and a Little League Football coach for Miami East.  David announced every Miami East High School football game for the past 40 years.  He was a diehard Ohio State Buckeye and an avid high school sport enthusiast.  David proudly served his country as a member of the US Army.

Celebration of Life will beheld from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Troy Fish and Game.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
