BILLY W. SCARBOROUGH
Billy W. Scarborough, age 80, of Troy, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.  He was born on February 8, 1933 in Keokee, Virginia to the late George M. and Bertha B. (Barker) Scarborough.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary A. (Sastre) Scarborough; four daughters, Trudy Bentley of Atlanta, Georgia, Mary E. Scarborough of Troy, Ohio, Billie Jean Soldyn-LaBauve  of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Cyndi L. (Clay) Westfall of Troy, Ohio; five brothers and sisters, Carl Scarborough of Odom, Georgia, Audrey J. Cooper of Huber Heights, Ohio, Bobbie S. Rosell of Dayton, Ohio, Joy G. Wiggins of Dayton, Ohio and George F. Scarborough of LaGrange, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Madeline O. Collier and two brothers; Don P. Scarborough and Jack M. Scarborough.
Billy was a member of the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church in Dayton. He retired from the US Army, having served in the Korean War, in which he was a POW. He also served seven tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW Post 8437, Enon, Ohio as well as the Ex POW Organization.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.  Interment will take place in the Barker Cemetery, Keokee, Virginia. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00PM on Saturday, December 14th  at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O.
